- PORTRAITS -
Life is full of special moments, and I love to capture that! Watching families grow is one of my favorite parts of being a photographer. I love family photos, babies, and seniors! I firmly believe pets are part of the family, so they're always invited!

- WEDDINGS -
Weddings are kind of my favorite. Celebrating with a couple on the happiest day of their lives is truly special. I love being able to give them the images that they’ll cherish for the rest of their lives together. My house is covered in photos from my own wedding, so I know just how important it is to capture the moments that make your wedding day so special!

FAQ
The Boring (But important) deets
Where Will I shoot?
Anywhere and everywhere. I'm based in Simpsonville, South Carolina but always up for an adventure. Chill in home session? Sign me up. Mountain top elopement? I'm there.
What's in my bag?
Nikon babyyyyyy. I have three camera bodies: two D750s and one mirrorless Z7 II. I prefer prime lenses (they don't zoom but are super sharp). I have a wide variety of lenses from wide angle to macro.
Am I legit?
D. Hayman Photography, LLC is a registered limited liability company in the state of South Carolina. I have liability and equipment insurance through The Hartford. I also have business licenses for the cities of Simpsonville, Greenville, and Columbia. I pay taxes and stuff.
How do I protect your images?
I am all about backups. On a wedding day I shoot with two cameras that both have two memory cards, in case something fails. For all weddings and sessions, I make sure there are always two copies of your images. I don't delete anything until your final gallery is uploaded. I don't delete galleries once they are live and keep a backup copy on a hard drive.
What is included in a session?
All sessions come with an online gallery of edited images, download pin, and print release. You will have the option to order prints from me via your gallery, but there is never an obligation. After downloading the digital images from your gallery, you are welcome to print or post them wherever.
How do I edit?
In every image, I want you to look like yourself. I primarily edit for natural skin tones. While I'll take care of a zit or two, I don't do massive photoshop edits or change intrinsic features. I like rich, vibrant colors and lots of contrast.
How do i decide what to edit?
My driving question when I'm culling images is "would I want this image?" If I have a nice picture of you or your family, why wouldn't I give it to you? For that reason, I don't set a firm quantity or limit on the number of photos I deliver. As a general estimate, you can expect approximately 50 images from a mini session and100 from a full session. For weddings, I deliver approximately 100 images per hour of coverage.
Covid?
I'm fully vaccinated! Got that Fauci Ouchie, that good good, hot vaxx summer. Me and my antibodies are ready to parrrrtayyyyyyy (JK I didn't party before this whole mess)
